From Penzance take the first left after you enter Newlyn and pass Newlyn Art Gallery. The road leads past Tolcarne Garage and the entrance to the pub, beyond which you will find a Pay and Display car park.

Please note that parking tickets can be refunded at the bar with a spend of £10.

The Tolcarne Inn is dog-friendly.

The Tolcarne Inn welcomes children, and can offer children’s portions of most dishes, or simpler versions. 

All dietary requirements can be catered for; please contact us in advance to discuss your specific needs.

Sadly due to the age of the building and its listed status, we have limited disabled access and no disabled toilet facilities. If you have any queries regarding access, please contact us.

It always makes us think of an Escher drawing, so we Googled it and discovered… “Romanesco naturally forms a logarithmic spiral and is an approximate (because it eventually ends) fractal, which is a geometric curve with a repetitive pattern, as the shape gets smaller in scale. Each part has the same form as the whole. If you're curious just how many spirals are on one head of Romanesco, it is a Fibonacci number.” So there you go! There will be one sitting only, and anyone who books in advance of the menu being available (let’s face it, Ben likes to leave it to the last minute!) will be contacted personally to check any dietary requirements.
